RT.Coat L30D (methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer)

The ratio of carboxyl groups to ester groups in this product is 1: 1. RT.Coat is known according to the USP standard as the type C methacrylic acid copolymer.
RT.Coat L30D is the main ingredient used in coated oral pills and pellets that need to be opened in the intestinal base environment.

RT.Coat L30D films are insoluble in acidic acidic stomach and dissolved in the intestinal environment with pH 5.5 and higher due to the formation of alkaline salts. The RT.Coat L30D film is colorless, transparent and fragile, which can be used to improve the elasticity of plastidizers such as polyethylene glycol, triethyl citrate, etc. in a coated formulation of 10 to 25%. Due to the fact that the base system is blue, the plastidizer must also be water-soluble.
